“I live and breathe the outdoors. I cut my teeth hunting early on with waterfowl and gun dogs. This transitioned to big game a few years down the road. The challenge of bow hunting drives me, and I’m not scared to travel to chase game. If it has a season, I’ll buy a tag! Trapping in the winter is my fun in the snow. Fishing is a summer passion to pass the time. Hungry and dumb is when I like to chase the Cutthroat. If they’re eating big bugs… stay outta my way! Put a pack on my back and let me walk, I’ll stop when the sun is set. The backcountry is my church and if you’ve spent any time out there you know exactly what I mean.”

Meet Ben Vidal, (Owner/Lead Guide)

Ben's lifelong connection to wild places and wildlife originated in his Idaho upbringing. Childhood experiences like hunting, fishing, and just spending time in the mountains remain a lasting passion. His career paths have always revolved around being in the woods. From cutting timber and highlead yarder logging, guiding, raising and training top notch hounds. This reflects his dedication and passion for the outdoors.
